About this app

Surely you have experienced the problem where you come home and have forgotten to turn on wifi on your mobile device. Maybe you have even watched videos or browsed the web without noticing that wifi was off, wasting some of your data volume.

If you can see yourself in this situation, the Wayfi app is our solution for you. Wayfi enables you to save one or more locations on your mobile device and assign a range to them, designating an area. Whenever you are within one such area, your wifi will be enabled automatically. As soon as you leave the area, wifi will be disabled to conserve power.

Wayfi uses a unique algorithm to achieve this. This algorithm evaluates your actual current location by correlating geographic coordinates from your GPS receiver with location data from your mobile network, using this information to decide in which intervals new location data should be requested. This way your location is checked less often when you are connected via wifi.

The Wayfi app does not share any of your private data. All data gathered by the app is used solely to perform its purpose. Therefore, all of your private data and information is secure and will never be transmitted to us or any third parties.
