Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing CleanSMS - Delete SPAM SMS on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Unable to open the app after latest update - force closes before opening. EDIT: Thanks for the quick response. Able to open now. EDIT2: Thanks for the update adding the review screen before any delete. EARLIER: Neat Interface. But needs ability to unselect/select in the review screen so that what is needed can be excluded from delete. I expected a review screen popup for the Clear Spam button, but unfortunately, it directly deleted all the msgs. Also needs ability to add sender to spam list from the search review screen. Needs Safe list in addition to Spam list to ignore from deleting in Search & clean

While deleting message if you genuinely an option to delete by period (because you may want to keep most recent message and only delete message older than 30 days) it will be great.....

It is very nice application. But custom search takes too much time and after searching, it doesn't delete searched messages.

WOW! Another hit out of the ballpark. Cleaning SMS spam had been a begrudgingly tedious chore before this. Outstanding!

SMS is now a least used medium of communication but not for AD agencies and establishments like banks, restaurants and shopping centers.

Number of SMS grows so rapidly that it reaches order of tens of hundreds as quick as in few weeks.

Though SMS are just text and uses less space, over time we get annoyed especially when we have to search for a legit SMS from a friend or family.

Clean SMS offers features:

Please Note:
Android is designed to allow only device's default SMS App to delete SMS. So, Clean SMS will prompt to make itself as 'Default SMS App'. Please tap 'Yes' when prompted to do so.

Rest assured that once cleaning of SPAM SMS is over (Few Seconds), the Default SMS App will be restored by another prompt.

Disclaimer:
CleanSms doesn't run in background or doesn't delete Spam SMS automatically. It makes it simpler with fewer clicks.

Also, there is a possibility that it doesn't work on devices using a custom or third-party Messaging App.
