Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing CarChat on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

CarChat enables car drivers to send and receive messages anonymously using their license plates.

To receive messages from other car drivers simply select your location and enter your license plate number.

To send messages to other drivers take note of their license plate and send them a message. If they reply you'll be able to have a conversation!

There is one catch though: to send messages to other drivers they need CarChat installed and their license plates registered. So we need your help in spreading the word!

Not sure what you can use CarChat for? Here's a few ideas:

- Someone has something faulty with their car. Broken tail lights, brake lights, front lights...any light really.
- You witnessed someone hit an unoccupied car.
- Annoy other passengers on those long, boring car trips.
- A stranger caught your eye but you lack the courage to approach? No, problem CarChat to the rescue!

** Warning: Texting while driving is dangerous, illegal in many countries and not encouraged. If you need to message someone let a passenger do it or pull over to the side of the road.

Brazil, Germany, Spain, France and Italy have been added as locations(native languages have not been added though).
