About this app

Only compatible with XPhone UC 2011. XPhone Mobile Control is an application for computer telephony integration (CTI) for Android smartphones. It allows mobile business users to communicate efficiently irrelevant of their location. Mobile users have access to all corporate or personal address contacts without the necessity or risk of storing the contacts directly on the mobile phone.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
===================
This app only works in conjunction with the XPhone Unified Communications Server from C4B or with Octopus Desk UC from the Deutsche Telekom. Separate Mobile Control licenses are also required. For information about XPhone licenses per visit www.c4b.de/en.

Supported Android versions:
»2.x
»4.x

XPhone Mobile Control for XPhone Unified Communications 2011 (SR 3 or above) or Octopus Desk UC (from SR 3 or above) offers the following functionality:

One Number feature
****************************************
Use the One Number feature to make calls from your mobile via your company's PBX. Your office number instead of your mobile number is shown on your caller's display.

»CTI Control for Android
****************************************
With Mobile Control you literally remotely control your Android’s phone functionality via your PC. You can dial out from virtually any application (e.g. Outlook or a CRM system) directly, as the mobile phone establishes the call for you automatically. Mobile Control offers you the comfort of a classic CTI PBX-Office phone environment but with the flexibility of your mobile phone.

»Dialing internal extensions
****************************************
To dial an extension within your company, you just need to enter just the internal extension (e.g. 205) instead of the whole number.

»Caller identification
****************************************
A pop-up on your mobile phone display (and on your PC) presents all of the important caller data, even if no company contacts are stored on your handset. The relevant data comes directly from your CRM, ERP or other corporate data sources.
»Presence awareness and accessibility
**************************************************
Your presence status is automatically modified according to your Outlook calendar, but can also be changed at any time manually too. XPhone offers a variety of presence statuses to accurately reflect your availability. Mobile Control even shows your colleagues a call "busy" status when you are on call – where ever you may be.

Presence controlled call forwarding
*******************************************
Presence statuses can be linked to individual call forwarding settings. Call forwarding is activated automatically whenever the corresponding presence status changes e.g. forward calls to a colleague during your meeting. Call forwarding can also be set manually at any time.

»Integrated battery management
****************************************
Users can individually determine when the Mobile Control app should be active e.g. by entering start/end times for individual weekdays. XPhone Mobile Control also employs a number of measures to minimize the energy consumption such as automatically ending the server connection when the battery is low.

»The All-in-One call journal
********************************************
Mobile Control provides users with a complete log of all phone calls from both office and mobile phones. The call journal can be accessed via your PC (XPhone client/web client) or via smartphone. With Mobile Control, unknown numbers in your mobile phone’s call journal are a thing of the past. XPhone conducts a lookup using the XPhone Virtual Directory to compare the entry with your private & corporate contacts and automatically enhances the call journal entry on your phone with the caller’s name.
