Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing BluebotXS Plus on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

reading all the reviews from others I'm very glad to say I had no issues connecting my bluebot (or Hans as we've named him). Sometimes it looses connection but reestablishes it fairly quickly. With the new updates perhaps it will be more stable but I haven't had very big issues after two weeks of using Hans. Would be nice to be able to add the program (intensive, auto or something else) in its time schedule via the app though! :)

Miserable connectivity between App and Robot. It works one time then it disconnects. You need to do everything manually on the Robot itself or reinstall the connection again (adding Wifi login, connecting to Bluebot user account). Terribly annoying and offensively underperforming. In 2019 this is unacceptable.

I like the robot, but the app is not very intuitive and has a lot of connectivity issues. communicating to the robot via the app often does not work. reinstalling the app poor rebooting the robot does not fix the problem :-( Blaupunkt please fix this!

Connecting is very unintuitive and illogical , worst thing is it disconnect after a week or so. And have to start the process all over again. Also cleaning record is kept, but no date and times are added.

The previous App worked better then the current version. Now when selecting the registered robot vacuum cleaner from the list it opens the status page and closes it automatically one second later. This happens at all the pages (device, support and me). For me the app is unusable in its current state.

The first day we brought Bluebot home, we were excited. I just finished reading a book called Sputnik Sweetheart so we decided to name it Sputnik. Sputnik is amazing because we are lazy people sometimes ;) A thing that could be improved is that Sputnik gets stuck on my chair legs and i have to save him. I know i could use the magnetic strips but they're not a nice sight. Perhaps you could have transparent ones? All in all Sputnik is a nice addition to the family :)

About this app

The BluebotXS Plus APP is a mobile application for the Blaupunkt Bluebot XSmart Robot Vacuum cleaner.

With this App, the user can remotely control the robot. It makes programming the cleaning schedules very easy. Also, it shows the map where the robot has cleaned to show where the robot has been. There are many more features, that can be explored after installing the app.
