Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Better Voice on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. This app seriously DRAINS your battery, doesnt work half the time, is very "clunky" to use and the recent updates make it impossible for me to do more than 1 call or text without having to kill the app and restart it. I love better voice the service, but the app is killin me...

Not happy with this BetterVoice app. Currently using a Samsung s6 edge and the app doesn't seem to like my phone or either there is a software issue as it connects to the Android or it is outdated. The app hangs up on calls, it can't access my address book, when I can call out which isn't all of the time, once a call is complete you have to close the app to stop the ringing that you hear in your bluetooth. The app doesn't always display ready which is needed inorder to make calls from the app. I normally have to close the app or reinstall it which is time consuming. The pictures above are misleading for I do not get a chance to see if the caller answered or called me unless they left a voicemail message. Otherwise, I have to get to my desktop to see the calls and what the status is. Otherwise it is a great service.
