This app is useless, I see all these negative review and it still hasn't been fix. Come on AT&T fix the issues please. 11/13/2020 update: Just when I thought it was getting better I have to uninstall daily and then it's says there an update daily in or for this app to work right I have to do this every morning. Other then that's it would be a great app. Please fix this minor issue. Thanking you in advance.

Absolute worst message app for years! I have been an AT&T customer for over 20 yrs, never used this app because it's so limiting. Now I'm having to use it to sync my msgs with my tablet. Yes, I can get msgs, that's it. No options to pin people or conversations, to change colors or themes, to change notification icon/color, and every time I go into msgs on my tablet, I have to re-select "view unread only." AT&T, you should be ashamed of how few resources you have put into this, it's pathetic.

11/15/2020 It's happening fourth time since January. After an update can't sign in to messaging on wireless tablet. Worked fine 11/13. Re-installed, updated sign in process ... changed password . Used my security questions. Still can't sign in. This is very frustrating !! Won't work now on my LG tablet or my Galaxy Tab A. 😈 I'd give it less than one star if I could.

i was really excited when i came across with this app but OMG it takes forever to recibe any messages; you send a txt the person gets the text but when they reply it is a long delay for you to recibe the sms or mms ,i love the idea it is pretty cool for those of us that still use the regular text app in our phones, but please fix the issues and i would recommend it to every one

Barely works, up to 1 week delay on getting messages. No way to change settings. Spent weekend with att and samsung support to get it working. New s5e tab, so should work. UPDATE: 6 months still not working trying other txt messenger.

No matter what you do fail. I have been trying to connect this to my account and no luck. Keeps telling me my ID doesn't exist. BS because I was able to connect phone app on my tablet no problem.

With AT&T Messages you can send and receive text and pictures messages from your tablet or smartwatch. Your messages are stored in the network so you can continue the conversation even when you switch devices. AT&T Messages uses your AT&T mobile number, so whether you send messages from your phone or tablet or smartwatch, everyone will know the message is from you.

To use AT&T Messages on your Android tablet (version 7 of the Android operating system and higher), press install, then open the app and log in using your AT&T User ID and you are ready to go!

Note: You must opt-in to AT&T Messages Back up and Sync app on your AT&T Smartphone before logging into the AT&T Messages for Tablet app.
