It would be more awesome if the same version was available for a desktop app running windows 8.1. It makes sense for me because my home security system runs on my network. Having to switch from phone to Computer to make a report and include pics is a little annoying.

About this app

Neighborhood Crime Watch Pro lets you quickly take pictures, spot the location of suspicious activity and share the details with your neighbors and law enforcement. You can save the watch details in your "log book" where you can review, edit and share them again. It also lets you export and import alerts to sync them between all of your devices and other NCW users.

• Shoot pictures using the camera and review them.
• Spot the location using GPS, cellular or wifi networks.
• Manually spot the location of the activity on a map.
• Attach multiple pictures using thumbnails.
• Enter details of activity, persons and vehicles.
• Share them using email, SMS or other online options.
• Location is sent as a Google Maps link.
• Attach the alert details as a .JSON file in outgoing emails
• Save alert details including location and pictures in your log book
• Import alerts from .JSON file received from other NCW users into your log book
• Export alerts from your log book as a .JSON file to sync with other devices
