La ASOCIACIÓN DE GANADEROS DEL LITORAL Y GALÁPAGOS AGLYG fue fundada el 27 de octubre de 1.943; su sede se encuentra en la ciudad de Guayaquil en la Cdla. La Fae, Av. Cosme Renella y Sargento Vargas y su Recinto Ferial en el Km 5 ½ Vía Durán Yaguachi. En la actualidad está presidida por el Sr. Francesco Tabacchi Rendón, en la gerencia el Ab. Enrique Baquerizo Luque y en el Comité de Feria el Sr. Alfredo Falconí.

La AGLYG representa a todos los ganaderos del litoral ecuatoriano y la región Insular, su centro de operaciones está constituido para cumplir con las finalidades que se han impuesto, buscando superar las producciones actuales a base de una ganadería desarrollada con un buen soporte tecnológico, convergiendo hacia ellos todos los adelantos y beneficios técnicos que el crecimiento pecuario requiere actualmente.
