I've been trying to use this for several months and don't find it friendly. When I'm in the car, my mobile phone integrates with the on-board systems, this app doesn't. It rings, but you can't answer it without finding the phone and "hitting any number" to allow the call to come through. Can't do that conveniently. Truthfully, to answer it at all, even if I'm not in the car, I've never negotiated the answering protocol in time to catch the call. Thumbs down. And then there are all sorts of other odd bugs that are too irritating to deal with.

This app works fine if you want to use it to call out from your mobile phone using your landline number. But, like others here, I have not been able to answer a forwarded call from my home phone. I have it configured to call my mobile phone when my home phone is off line. Fine. It does. But then I get the message to press any number to answer, and can't get to a number before it is too late. One problem is that when my mobile phone rings, the homeXtend app does not come up; rather, my usual phone answering screen comes up, asking me if I want to answer. Do I need to do this, or should I try to quickly get into the homeXtend app? In any event, there are too many steps and no real instructions for what to do. When the phone rings with a forwarded call, the app needs to open up on the screen.
