Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing amsNFC on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

Maybe is due to the bcm chip of the s4? On s3 works fine.

About this app

With amsNFC, you can test two outstanding ams devices - the HF-reader device AS3911 and the HF-RFID tag chip AS3953. In combination with the Evaluation GUIs for both devices it is possible to evaluate the following features:
- NFC P2P communication between an Android Phone and the AS3911 reader chip.
- NFC Forum Tag Type 4 communication with the AS3953 ISO14443a-4 tag chip
The App is used to upload and download content (URL, images, text).

Please note that you need to create a folder named ams in the local storage of your phone and copy images (PNG) there to enable picture transfer.
