Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ConfChat on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

ConfChat or Chat@Scale is a made free secure instant Room-based chat platform. It is designed to discuss between friend about knowledge.

The idea behind follows the way we handle of a Conference Call. But here, we Chat during the conference by text messaging:
[1] You schedule a Conference by creating a Chat Room.
[2] You send invitations to your friends by sharing your Room ID.
[3] You open the Conference by opening your Chat Room then you can start chatting.

So, you are either a Moderator (a Room Owner) or a Participant. You become a moderator by creating your own room. In case, you have been invited to join a chat room, so you are a Participant.

It is currently available into different versions. From console-based to mobile app through Desktop GUI. The Console and Desktop versions don't require any installation before using it. The console-based version let you experiment at scale how fun is the use of the Command-Line Interface aka CLI.
It is ease to use, from the client software, you request the creation of a Chat Room and you have a full control on your room. Then you can share the Room Id with friends so that they can join your chat room as participant. That's all for chatting. As the room moderator, you can disconnect someone silently, you can close or open or lock or unlock your chat room etc. Please, note that any generated room has a lifetime of 48 hours. Someone can join your chat room only if your room is opened.

Your chat messages and your email address are not recorded. Just your IP address and Room Id are logged for troubleshooting purposes and for statistical computation if needed.
