This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing TRP Locator on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

About this app

TRP Locator runs on any android phone which has GPS capabilities, and data service from a phone company. It receives the coordinates of the mobile and transmits it to The Routing Project.

A membership for The Routing Project provides a simple means for everyone to see the location of the mobile on a map, and thus track the location of an entity (vehicle or individual), using technology that every home has access to: the internet and/or a mobile phone with internet service.

TRP Locator is combined with a website that allows users to create Orgs (groups) that others may join. Each member of an Org can view the location of other members.
