This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing AdGuard: Content Blocker on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. When it works, it works very well. The problem is, every now and then when I launch my samsung browser, I get a message to the effect of AdGuard not starting and I should check it in my settings and try to start it manually. Sometimes it starts from there, but most times it doesn't and I get the error message again.

I like the fact that this blocks a fair number of ads that would otherwise be in my face.as an ordinary user and not a tech person I find the directions a little confusing and do believe that I see more ads than I actually should. I may not have my settings correctly and that's because the directions are not clear to me.

Great superb excellent amazing dream effing come true app. Solved all my problems with websites that were bombarded with ads. By far the most powerful and aggressive adblocker in the market. Solved problems with my favorite and very important work websites that used to display annoying ads; adguard completely blocked all ads that all other adblockers failed to block! Thanks a ton! Would gladly pay anything for this great amazing app!

I was skeptical at first but it came with a trial so I figured why not give it a go. Boy am I glad I did! It blocks EVERYTHING on the OneUi 2.5 S20 Ultra Snapdragon model. I ended up getting the lifetime subscription and I know I won't regret it!

I am testing the Samsung Internet browser and this app was one of the ad blockers in the list of installable ones. It seems to do its job well but it occasionally stops working (samsung browser displays the message that ad blocker stopped working) and I have to disable / re-enable it to get it working again.

Of all the content blockers I've tried for Samsung Internet , this one is the best IMO. Lots of options to customize filters and rules. (I added the entire easylist filter myself in "user rules.") This app blocks ads and trackers MUCH better than ANY other content blocker add-on I've tried. **If it's not working, you can't be using it correctly! It ONLY works with Samsung Internet browser. You CAN import more blocking rules. Read the directions before you complain & post negative reviews.**
