This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Carnival Forum Link on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

An Android App front-end for the Carnival Funville online discussion forum that allows you to view and post to a thread. This can be used for onboard communication because access to the forum via your phone’s WiFi is free. People onshore can also use this App to get in touch with you and vice versa.

This App exists because browsing the Carnival Funville forum on the phone was too painful (there does not appear to be a mobile version).

Well, it worked well enough on my last cruise that we stopped carrying our walkie talkies. It was a real pain to carry the phone (for music and games for my kid) and a walkie talkie. So, this was useful.

How to use:

1. Create a new forum thread (probably in the Currently Onboard subforum)

2. Type its thread ID into App Settings
To find the thread ID: browse the thread and copy the 6-digit number just before ".aspx" from the URL.
For example, given the following URL
http://www.carnival.com/Funville/forums/t/396125.aspx
The thread ID is "396125".

3. Make sure everybody is on the same thread ID
