Die Wirtschaftsvereinigung Wolfsburg e.V. ist ein branchenübergreifender Zusammenschluss von Unternehmern und Unternehmerinnen, Freiberuflern und Freiberuflerinnen sowie Handwerksbetrieben. Zweck des Vereins ist die Förderung der gemeinsamen wirtschaftlichen Belange seiner Mitglieder und der lokalen Wirtschaft der Stadt Wolfsburg. Zur Vernetzung und als gemeinsame Plattform wird die Wirtschaftsvereinigung Wolfsburg App genutzt.

Im Rahmen der DSGVO stellen sich viele Vereine die Frage, ob Messenger-Dienste/Apps wie WhatsApp im Verein überhaupt noch genutzt werden dürfen.
