This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing In-Hand VNC on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Tried to link my GoogleTV Android device to my laptop screen with VNC. It doesn't connect often and when it does it's on ancient VGA resolution or something.

As the Director of Information Management, it's perfect! Only problem was figuring how to perform a file transfer but once I figured it out, it's wonderful. Now it's a full service reliable perfectly functional software. Makes my job much easier! John/ Colorado

It connects to UltraVNC servers running on WinXP. User interface is poor. Only 1 server connection's preferences are kept for future reuse.
