The app is fantastic, any choppy audio issues are all explainable because of WiFi and internet issues. I use it over a VPN 3500 km away from the radio. Best remote radio app I have ever used..

disappointed that I cannot recieve audio from radio on my tablet.. Latest update , not the software but my Tablet audio failed as the software was running, fault was the tablet, fixed now and can hear the audio ok

The Barrett SDR (Software Defined Radio) Remote App is a FREE Advanced Remote-Control Application for the Barrett 4050 HF SDR from Barrett Communications.

Prerequisites:
- Barrett 4050 HF SDR with Remote Access option enabled
- Network connection to the Barrett 4050 HF SDR using WiFi or Ethernet

Intuitive user interface to configure and control the Barrett 4050 HF SDR over IP. This application gives the user all the same operational control as using a control head connected directly to the SDR. The application offers auto re-connect on dropped network links.

After granting the permissions please close the the app via the Recent Apps feature of Android (square button in the navigation bar). The microphone will not be enabled until this has occurred.
