The forced registration makes this app useless for me. There is no reason to give them my personal data including my date of birth. That's an absolute no-go for me. I stick to the desktop version and should the enforce registration there then I'll swap out all dlan devices. Bad bad stuff, stay away from this app.

You have to register online which is not necessary. The app is unfinished yet it gets recommended by the installation guide. You have an app and when you want to add your device you can't do it with the app and it opens a browser window... Then when you enter in your device S/N it doesn't accept it. While it's correct. When an engineer can't even get this to work imagine the struggle for other people. This app 100% deserves a 1 star. Good product, good pc app but unfinished mobile app shame.

Doesn't find my Devolo devices even when my wifi is logged onto the Devolo dlan wifi transmitter, so not much good then, eh? If it doesn't start working soon, I'll have to delete it. Shame, because the Devolo dlan devices themselves and even the Devolo Cockpit app on my pc work just fine. Update: Now seems to work following my switching off the Eco setting using the Devolo Cockpit app on my PC. I think maybe the Android app didn't see the dlan plugs as they were asleep?

It works great, exactly as described. Can not understand the justifications for such a low overall rating. Okay, granted, the Germanic logic of the app is slightly different from that of traditional English logic - but once taken a brief amount of time to suss out the Germanic quirks, this app is fantastically efficient. Danke. ☺

I just want to be able to set up my WiFi extenders. Why does this app need access to my camera, why do i need to register and give up my real name and address? I care about privacy, Devolo doesn't need to know who I am! On the pc you don't need to hand over your private information either.

Dreadful. I have to use it to control my dlan. When i log in I don't see the dlan option shown in the setup docs. So dlan broke, and can't fix it. Will be returning the devolo tomorrow.. can anyone recommend something better ?
