This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing NXT GMailbox Remote on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

Android G-Sensor data can be transfered to a LEGO Mindstorms NXT. A Bluetooth connection will be established.

X -> Mailbox 1
Y -> Mailbox 2
Z -> Mailbox 3

X,Y,Z range between 0 and 360

String ... Bluetooth data handled as text
Number ... Bluetooth data handled numeric

Requirements:
- Lego Mindstorms NXT Brick
- Program for the NXT Brick (developed by yourself)
- Android 2.1 or higher

Restrictions:
- The Lego Bluetooth Block can only receive string data (A Conversion to number is possible with the File Block)
- The Lego Bluetooth Block can not receive numbers
- Other Development Environments (NXC) can receive all kind of data
