WILL NOT CONNECT: I recently had to replace my Note 4 with another Note 4. Both phones have the same O.S. Previous Note 4 the WPS DVR app worked. When I reinstalled WPS DVR app from Google store on replacement Note 4 phone. Error message said it could not connect. I checked all permissions and contacted my cell phone carrier to make sure it wasn't any OS updates causing issue. My wife also has a Note 4 and my daughter has a Galaxy 3 and the app still works on their phones. My wife phone has same OS as I do. I recently tried to install app on my son's Galaxy 3 phone to troubleshoot and app installs but will not connect There's something wrong with new installs from play store for this app. I contacted developer and they said it might be my firmware not updating on my DVR. Which doesn't make sense because why does app still work on other Note 4 and Galaxy 3.

The problem with wirepath is that they were acquired by another company (SnapAV) a year ago and are no longer updating their app and their website. While their products continue to enjoy market exposure, I wouldn't count on them being around much longer. Run away, because SnapAV is the vendor for Luma brand cameras which currently enjoys 47% of the market. Do the math people. Wirepath is DEAD.

Wirepath DVRs and aps are terrible. New version was better on 8 channel DVR but didn't work at all with 4 channel DVR. Update: working now after 4 CH DVR was rebooted - it apparently wasn't recording.

Why can I only connect with WiFi and not 4G? This app is not user friendly. Editing camera is very confusing. It will not work unless I am at home, thus defeating the entire purpose.

I didn't know this was running in the background and this app chewed up over 8GB of data in 12 hours. Don't buy a WPS DVR or install this app. Terriblecustomer service.

after updates , cameras stop working and the connection failed each time i tried to connect , previous version is better , now this version is useless and i will search for another app
