As others have pointed out, app was buggy (forgetting settings) and when I replaced my old AW smartwatch with a new one, the Premium version doesn't seem to be found (which makes it seem like it's tied to the device, not the Google Play account). Looks like it's been a while since an update, so I think this may have been abandoned. Fortunately, there's a competing product with great reviews, so moving on...

This app used to work rather well. It kept the light on longer according to the value you would set. However, since the latest Android Wear update it is practically worthless. Every so often and for no obvious reason it will now shut down, leaving the light timeout at the default 5 seconds. Every time then you have to open the app and reselect the light timeout which is quite annoying.

I was very happy when I found this app as the built-in light timeout is way too short. So I installed this app and thought problem solved. I set the timeout to 10 secs. What I noticed though that quite often the light would turn off much earlier - as if I didn't have the app running at all. It happens randomly and makes having this app rather pointless unfortunately. Therefore I cannot recommend this to anyone looking for a solution to Wear's short backlight timeout.

As other reviewers have pointed out, there is a general problem with the reliability of this app. For some time, it will work fine but then seemingly out of random the backlight turns off much earlier than the value that you have set. I wish the developer could address this problem and make this app as useful as promised.

Exactly what I needed. Too bad android wear doesn't do this by default, but good for developer who created this app. Thanks! I bought the upgrade. Only 99 cents!

Finally I can see my beautiful watch face for more than 2 seconds. This app saves the day. Up to a minute of full bright face.
