Unfortunately, the lack of google home integration is a major let down for me. The unit is based on a updatable wifi controller. There is no reason this feature should be missing. Also, it was last updated in 2016. I bought my unit 2 years ago... Finally, you cannot control fan speed with the app and my only comment to that is: Why not?

Basic, unreliable, cumbersome. 15 minutes or more per unit to set up. Links in app take you to main web page, not specific pages such as FAQ. App fails to connect to individual units at times. The app is an obvious afterthought and does little to enhance the ownership experience. Pretty basic, something you would expect from a low budget company, not one that claims to be the biggest A/C manufacturer in the world.

Really easy way to take full control over multiple units. Easy straight forward way to automate the units.

No fan speed control? Are you serious? Google Home not compatible in these days? This app is really outdated.

Switching over 8 units from heat to cool schedules has made me re-evaluate this app down to 1 star, but it's not even that good. Users must edit each scheduled change individually: 4 changes per unit per day = 28 settings per unit, or 176 individual settings in my house. It's actually even worse than using the remotes, as the remotes let you copy settings from one day to another. Do not bother with the wifi controllers and this terrible app.

Edit (July 15, 2019). This app. has not been updated for a long time, at least Android version. Lowering my score from 5 to 3 stars as there are so many issues, especially when trying to run from the Internet, not on the same LAN. Oct. 2018: Very easy to setup WiFi access either at home / office LAN, or while away. Easy to administer any zone (I have 4 in my home), or all of them at once. Schedule is easy and intuitive to setup. Units are very quiet and efficient. Thank you Daikin!
