It slows the phone down tremendously! It blocks 96% of all apps on the the play store.. although lately it has been getting harder to get around this filter which is the purpose of it but nonetheless it is lacking pretty severely

Prepare for your phone to slow down like it got shot in the lungs.

This app does exactly what its supposed to! It will occasionally have a few bugs for me but a quick email to cloudveil support and they always answer and are very helpful! And I've never come away without eventually getting it resolved satisfactorily. Would suggest that everyone try that instead of leaving bad feedback right away. Thanks for all your hard work Cloudveil!

The app works well for the most part, my main problem Is when you touch any locked app it freezes the whole phone up for some minutes. While repeatedly touching the home button works sometimes, at others it is necessary to completely restart the phone. I have the first gen google Pixel so other devices may not have this problem.

Love this filter! Support was super quick and super helpful! Thank you!! I've read quite a few negative reviews. I believe that there is a few problems with it. But... It is what it is. A filter. This is something to help us keep our lives quiet. It's just a personal opinion. But I wonder do games and You Tube used as entertainment supposed to be in a Christians life? I've lived a rough life and have had to learn the hard way. Thank you support for patience, help, and making a great filter!

About this app

Requires an account with CloudVeil.org. Please be aware that on some devices, your blocked apps will not appear in the launcher. You will need to uninstall CloudLocker for them to show up again.

Once you have activated the device administration functionality, you will need your CloudLocker password to disable it without wiping your device. If you misplace or forget your password, you can contact CloudLocker support at http://www.cloudveil.org.
If you need access to an app that CloudLocker blocks, please open a ticket at http://www.cloudveil.org.
Please be sure to read the Personal Data Collection policy when you start the app for the first time.

- For the optimal functioning of CloudLocker, you must allow access to Device Administrator, Accessibility, and VPN.
- CloudLocker should only be installed by the phone owner.

This app uses the Device Administrator permission for the listed reasons:
- disable-camera - Controls whether or not the camera is allowed on your device.
- force-lock - Used to lock the phone after attempts to bypass the locker.
- wipe-data - Used to wipe the phone on an unauthorized removal attempt.

This app uses Accessibility service to know when an app is launched.
- This is used to assist individuals with impulse control disorders and for parental device control.
- Once the app is configured, it will protect the user from opening undesired apps.

This app uses the Android VPN service to enforce safe-search within some apps and block adult content in others.
- Performs content filtering. When possible, we do this using only DNS-level filtering. In other cases, we perform URL or actual content filtering.
- Traffic over the VPN is encrypted to our filtering network.
- This app may have access to personal data. None of this data is shared with others.
- The VPN traffic will pass through our filtering server. We exempt whatever we safely can from inspection. Where it is inspected, we do not log data that would identify you or your device.
- The application itself logs some data on traffic. If you choose to, you can export these logs.

CloudLocker will also attempt to collect your device's phone number, list of installed apps, and time spent in apps to assist with managing installed apps and providing usage accountability. Your phone number is used to assist technical support in helping you with your device.
