This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Remote Production Camera on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

If you have ever tried to use a mobile phone as a remote camera, you know it only works if there is someone with the camera at all times to change the settings. With Remote Production Camera you no longer have to be there.
Simply install the app, logon with your account and then you have full remote control of the camera and streaming.
Need to change the rtmp url remotely, no problem.
Need to start and stop streaming remotely, no problem.
Need to flip from front to rear camera, no problem.
You can even dim the screen and turn off the camera remotely to save battery power.

Install RPC in a racing car or airshow aircraft at the start of the day, put it in sleep mode and then just before the race or event, wake up the app and start streaming. Then when its all over, put it back to sleep until you need it again.

With a web based control portal, Remote Production Camera works over any internet connection including 4G, WiFi or Ethernet. All you need is an internet connection for the phone. You can stream to a local endpoint over WiFi or over the internet to a studio or ground station.
