Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SeatAdvisor Box Office on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

About this app

This app is for SeatAdvisor Box Office customers (stadiums, concert halls, theaters etc.) who use or want to use Android devices for access control at their events (or potentially for any other purpose, see below*). It will scan ticket bar codes and send them to either the online SABO ticket system or an offline Local Ticket Server for validation. The app responds visually and audibly (can be customized). For fast barcode scanning connect an external USB scanner, otherwise the built-in camera can be used (possible to use flash light and front camera if desired).


The app is optimized for use with our Local Ticket Server solution which avoids network latency issues and enables our customers to validate tickets at both online and offline locations (without Internet connection). It features one-click import of tickets from SABO before the event begins (if online, also automatically during the event), and export of scanned tickets back into SABO after the event is over. The app and the server handles complex ticket validation rules (eg. in/out/re-entry rules), multiple gates etc. It features real-time status reports as tickets are scanned - and many more features.
