This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Wear Remote on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

About this app

This App requires your Phone to be rooted. If you don't know what Root is or if your phone is not properly rooted this app will not function correctly. This app does not require your Android wear device to be rooted.

This app lets you navigate your Android device from the comfort of your Android wear watch.
Controls:
Press up to generate a D-pad up action on your android device
Press down to generate a D-pad down action on your android device
Press left to generate a D-pad left action on your android device
Press right to generate a D-pad right action on your android device

Long-Press up to generate a Volume up action on your android device
Long-Press down to generate a Volume down action on your android device
Long-Press left to generate a Home action on your android device
Long-Press right to generate a Back action on your android device

Tips:
Connect your phone to a big screen (MHL, SlimPort, Mini HDMI) and control your favorite app with your watch from the comfor of your couch.

Notes:
Not all application in the Google Play store have full D-Pad support. Just try what applications work best for you (this app is compatible with Android XBMC, Kodi, Netflix, Plex, Youtube app and many, many more apps in the Google PLay store). You need a rooted device to use this application. You also need an input-shell installed on your device. I would recommend installing BusyBox if you have a rooted OSAP device. If there is enough enthusiasm for this application I will continue development and provide more options, better graphics, a second app to install on your (rooted) TV Box. Thank you for your support.
