About this app

After demonetization, people in the nook and corner of the country are beginning to warm up to the idea of cashless transactions. In a bid to provide more information about different modes of online transaction to the rural masses, a first-of-its-kind mobile application has been launched by the Osmanabad district. The user-friendly application Cashless Osmanabad is developed for sharing in-depth information about mobile wallet, Unified Payment Interface (UPI), mobile banking, payments using Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) and Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS). It also provides information about micro ATMs, mobile banking and bank prepaid cards among other new tools and avenues that are being promoted by the government to achieve cashless economy. The mobile application shares knowledge about different digital payment gateways and ways to install and activate them. The application carries information about services offered by each tool and the transaction cost required. We have also incorporated more details such as limits of fund transfer and scope of service for number of operators.

Along with that, Collectorate Osmanabad disseminated the Single Window Service Delivery Channels for Government to Citizen (G2C) for ensuring accessibility, convenience, and timeliness in Service Delivery. Delivery of e-Services through this APP is a strategy initiated by Collectorate Osmanabad to realize the above vision
