This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing “Auto-Minute” Timer Widget on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. One suggestion: in the settings panel to incorporate the choice of sounds? It seams that not working in sleep mode (Kit Kat, Lenovo tablet).

About this app

Start a countdown timer with one touch, right on your home screen. Add minutes by tapping again. Five minute timer? Five taps, you're done.

Create as many widgets as you like, each runs independently. Ideal for cooks in the kitchen, family games, productivity at work, etc.

When a timer reaches zero it sounds the standard alarm notification sound. Tap the respective widget to cancel.

Small app with no permissions required. NB this is an early preview release, we plan to enhance the app with more usability and customisation.

New features

Small update - squashes a bug where timers went negative on KitKat+, and un-squashes the idle display on some newer devices where it wasn't looking so good.
