About this app

Voltage detector can wirelessly detect current or voltage in buried or hidden electrical lines using internal or external sensors. Originally, it used an external sensor that plugged into your headset jack(and still can), but over the course of the project has evolved to use an internal sensor to detected alternating current. While the external sensor is much more accurate and sensitive. The internal sensor does not need to be bought or fabricated but does require calibration before the first use. For demonstration purposes only! Never stick anything in an electrical socket of any type or touch an exposed line, it will kill you.

Not all phones support internal sensor functionality(either no internal sensor or non compatible sensor), in these cases external sensors are the only solution. A simple and cheap sensor diagram is included with the app for free. Please use common sense.

New features

No longer detects permanent magnets after a successful calibration.

Decreased false detection do to back ground radiation.

Increase sensitivity range.
