Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MyIP on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

MyIP provides you with an intuitive application, which allows you to gather information on your current IP Address information.

The application shows Internal, External and WiFi IP Addresses. There is also a section explaining the IP information.

In the latest version we have added a Ping function, so you can tell if Websites or Online Resources are reachable.


NOTICE: Due to a change in company name (from SimpleSoftware to WebbySoftware), the next update of MyIP would have required users to uninstall the application. Instead of disrupting the current user base, the decision was made to create an upgraded application called MyIP+. There is no change in policy for MyIP. It will continue to be supported in the same manner, but updates will be for fixes only. The new application will be available to download from the store shortly, and will require no further permissions than the original.

Fixed IP error if the external address details do not update correctly.
Added 'no local network' fix.
Added a Ping function, with custom dialog.
