The MUTE app enables s me to take time off during the day, and to rest. Even as a retiree, I lead a significantly busy life, and the use of the MUTE option is helpful when things need to be dialed down a bit. 9/1/19: I continue to enjoy using them MUTE app. I find numerous uses for it in my professional and personal life. Good app! My wish would be that I could have it "float" on top of other apps so that when my sound comes on unexpectedly, or too loudly, I can mute it immediately, and not have to navigate to find it.

I'm glad that it mutes EVERYTHING! Love it! I just wish there was a way to distinguish when it's off or on. Many times I have accidentally turned it off and didn't know it. How about a way to know without tapping it, if it's on or off?

Finally the application does only what it is intended to be. One small suggestion is to change the icon to another, nicer one, and to see a red, diagonal line when we clicked or did not click in silent mode. Good work. Great app. Cheers

Sony Xa1 - turns sound off OK on first click, but clicking second time only turns on notifications, not media. Also icon does not change to indicate when active, so have to look in the notifications bar to see if "do not disturb" is on.

Love the app. Works great. This is perfect & free. This is one of those niche apps that are very easily worth a buck to give me convenience. Thank you. Edit : if you love this there is a donate app for 1.49. Absolutely worth it.
