About this app

The Munich Patron NFC app allows you to quickly log in to the self-service kiosk at your local library using the NFC capability on an android phone or device, replacing the need to carry a library card. Once you have downloaded the app, simply speak to a member of staff at your local library branch who will help you enter your library ID and validate the application. You will then be able to use your NFC enabled device to access your patron account on any library kiosk that has an NFC label on it by placing the device on or near to the label.
Android apps work in isolated states so unless you specifically allow the application to have access to personal details (such as contacts), it cannot access them. The Munich NFC app does not require or ask for access to any personal details.
