Meat Pie Day is stand alone note taking app.

Jupyter Notebook like note taking app. Or local painting BBS like app.
You can post text and send images from other painting app to create notebook.
You can share book as a ipynb file (Jupyter Notebook format).
This app itself does not depend on any server-side service, but you can use gist or any service which support ipynb format.

This app just store image as is, so shrink image before send (I use Image Shinker Lite https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmail.anolivetree.imageshrinklite&hl=en).
