Unusable. Errors upon opening with "There are too many registered SSIDs. Delete any unnecessary SSIDs and try again." Why are Buffalo WiFi so complicated? It should just be plug in, access and configure WiFi settings at 192.168.11.1, done. Why does this not work (and I've tried with different devices); why do I have to long press a button and identify the meaning of the combination of three blinking LEDs? Also, none of the other setup instructions in the manual work.

Destroyed my phone!!! DO NOT INSTALL THIS PROGRAM! Danger! You have been warned! I bought a Buffalo wifi modem and the instructions told me to install this program. I did but the program said, "There was a problem installing this program, please restart you phone to complete the installation"! I did this, and it completely froze my phone. I looked all over the internet and I have tried everything possible to get my phone working to no avail. I even called Buffalo customer service, and they said, "We have never heard of this problem, and as far as we know, there is no problem" They should look on this page, their product is judged as below average.

About this app

“QRsetup” lets you easily connect your Android device to the AirStation. Just scan the AirStation’s QR code to automatically connect your Android device to the AirStation.

Compatible Devices:
Devices with a rear camera that has an autofocus function.

Notes:
• Not all AirStation models are compatible with QRsetup. Only AirStation models with a QR code on the sticker or setup card are compatible with QRsetup.
• If an error occurs while scanning the QR code, try the following:
◦ Reboot your Android device.
◦ Move your Android device closer to the AirStation and try again.
◦ Check the AirStation’s operation mode. Make sure the switch is on either Auto or Router mode.
◦ Change the AirStation’s wireless channel.
◦ If there are two QR codes on the setup card, try scanning the other QR code.
◦ Initialize the AirStation (all settings will be deleted).
• If you cannot connect your Android device to the AirStation when using 2.4 GHz, your Android device may not be compatible with wireless channels 12 and 13. In such a case, set the AirStation’s wireless channel to one between 1–11 from the AirStation’s Settings.
• If you cannot connect your Android device to the AirStation when using 5 GHz, your Android device may not be compatible with wireless channels 52–140. In such a case, set the AirStation’s wireless channel to one between 36–48 from the AirStation’s Settings.
• QRsetup reads the AirStation’s factory default security settings from the QR code. If you change any security setting of AirStation, you cannot connect your Android devices to the AirStation using QRsetup.
• On a device running Android 6.0 or later, QRsetup cannot work due to OS restrictions unless permission to access the camera and location services is granted. Follow the displayed directions and configure the settings. (QRsetup does not collect any location data or data obtained by the camera.)
• QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED.
