About this app

Jotter provides you with a low resource, non-intrusive text editor for your Android device.

Jotter has been designed to let you create, update or find notes easily.

If you want a WYSIWYG notepad, with no ads, no nonsense, and a minimum of fuss then look no further.

01 - Clean, modern interface.
02 - One click backup.
03 - Backup and restore of Individual items.
04 - Change editor text size, font, colour.
05 - Change editor background.
06 - Auto save.
07 - Page rotation lock.
08 - Text to speech.

Permissions:

Jotter asks for two perms

Storage: Modify and delete SD contents. Jotter only writes to SD, and needs access to store your notes.

Network Communications: Full Internet Access. The Android OS requires this permission if you use an HTML view in your application. The instructions and homepage links are in HTML, so this is why it is a required permission.

Full details of Jotter and WebbySoftware are available from the www.WebbyBoy.co.uk homepage.

Jotter is a free application, and supplied as is. WebbySoftware, their partners, hosts, staff, or anyone directly or indirectly related take responsibility for corruption, loss of data, or any other issues resulting from the use of this application.

NOTICE To ASNotepad Users:

Jotter is essentially ASNotepad Version 5. Due to a change in company name (from SimpleSoftware to WebbySoftware), the next update of ASNotepad would have required users to uninstall the application.

As the current version of ASNotepad has a userbase which is still growing in popularity, it was decided to release a new application, rather than risk terminating the current users. ASNotepad will still be supported, but after the updated Version 4 there will be no further releases, other than to fix reported errors.

New features

Updated for the Android 8 SDK Versions.
