About this app

Wifi connectivity is essential throughout the day. Unfortunately every mobile device doesn't have Wifi all the time. Phones and tablets are portable devices and, when leaving a place with Wifi connectivity, usually move to a 3G connection (when available).
In this case the Wifi connectivity is lost but is left enabled to scan and connect to a known network as soon as possible. A device may connect to a Wifi after hours after losing a previous connection. In the meanwhile battery is wasted scanning for known networks.

AutoWifi helps you saving battery life by enabling the Wifi when near a known network and disabling when leaving it. Multiple networks may be configured into AutoWifi, so that you can manage all the places where you have Wifi connectivity.

AutoWifi uses localization to determine if you're currently near a known Wifi, using resources shared with other applications.

AutoWifi checks all the connection you make manually to propose the configuration of the current place as area to enable/disable Wifi. Otherwise you can add it from the app itself, after being connected to a Wifi network.
