This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Dice chat on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Have issue with log-in dialogs changing case of my text. Made 3 channels, seems it lost or changed the password on all. Can't access channel after leaving it. Looks like it could be a good app, even great with some more work. Suck that I have issues with the log-in dialog boxes.

A great app with an in-app dice rolling program. But it's not very attractive interface, there are no notifications if people post, and there's no way to upload pictures or files to anybody else in the room.

About this app

Dice Chat is both a private chat and a dice roller. Use it to play RPG or board games with your friends! Useful when you playing on the internet or at home: maybe you're the Game master and you want only one player to know the result of a dice roll? Roll it inside Dice Chat!

Enter username and choose an existent channel, or create one just entering a channel name.

Channels can be public or private (password protected).
If you want to create a private channel just uncheck "Public" and specify a password, then touch the arrow for connecting.

You can write text or dictate it to Google Speech Recognizer.
You can also use some keywords, well described inside the app.

To roll dice just write in RPG format, like: 1d4, 1d6, 1d8...
You can roll multiple dice writing: 2d4, 4d6, 10d8...
By default the app sums dice results, if you want to show separate results just use \distinct keyword before the roll.
You can roll personalized dice, like d3, d11, d35...
