About this app

This application can transparently encrypt and decrypt any text in any application

You can use it to exchange private encrypted and covert chat or email messages or store your own encrypted notes on your device.

Watch our demo video:
* Introduction
* Encrypted email
* Encrypted image

Oversec is completely invisible to the underlying applications. It can work with Whatsapp, Line, Snapchat, Instagram or any other chat application. It also supports sending and receiving PGP encrypted messages using Gmail or any other email application.

End-to-end encryption is obsolete. Oversec introduced "eye-to-eye" encryption. Encrypted data is only decrypted when it is displayed on the screen! No plaintext is saved and therefore cannot be extracted from the file system or accidentally backed up to the cloud.

We have also carefully designed Oversec so that it does not request network permissions. Therefore, you can rest assured that no decrypted information can leave your device

how to work:

Oversec continuously monitors the text on your screen. When it finds encrypted text, it will try to decrypt and then display the decrypted text as an overlay instead of the encrypted text.
On the contrary, it can read text from the input box, encrypt it, and then put the encrypted text back into the input box.

To encrypt the text, Oversec displays a button next to the active input box. After entering the private text, tap the button to make Oversec read the text, encrypt it and put the encrypted text back into the input box. Now the text can be sent in the underlying application as usual-the application doesn't even know that it is sending encrypted data!

Another feature of Oversec is the unique way of encoding encrypted messages. It stores encrypted text in invisible (0 width) characters, allowing you to add disguise text at the end. In this way, a message will be displayed as, for example, "Sunny!" without any visible features of encryption, and in fact contains the hidden encrypted message.

You can also encrypt and send photos through Oversec-its unique camera mode even allows you to send encrypted photos without storing the original photos on the device.
