Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Clouttery on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

Easy to use. It runs in the background quite smoothly, collecting data about your battery. It has some useful features, as well as being cloud-based, so I can check my battery no matter where my phone actually is.

About this app

• Know the battery and charging status of your devices, from a single place, even if they are miles away

• See their battery history

• Get notified when the batteries are getting low, or are about to finish charging

• See statistics for your batteries, including cycles and calibration count

• Be warned when damaging usage patterns are detected

Cross-platform: Clouttery is also available for Windows and Chrome, and has a website. In all of these, you can see the status of your batteries and receive notifications.

Fine notification control: You can select for what devices you want to get notifications, and in the website you can even adjust the types of notifications to see for each device.

To be useful, this app must be paired with a Clouttery account, which is free. Head over to http://clouttery.xyz for more information. Clouttery is a subscription service that is currently in Beta; users who sign-up during the Beta period will get Clouttery for free, forever.

This app uses a negligible amount of power, and by default doesn't use mobile data to sync in the background. You can change this in the settings.

Clouttery is constantly being improved, and clients for more platforms and more features are in development.

New features

This version adds support for logging battery temperature. Further support for battery temperature information will be added to this app, the website and other clients gradually.
