Groups apps by risk (high risk of tracking personal info, normal risk, etc.) and lists all the permissions and the last time the app connected with a server. For example, I have not used my Uber app in over a year, yet it had connected with a server a few weeks ago. Since I don't use Uber very often, I decided to uninstall that app, and could do so with a push of a button within the Privacy Advisor app.

Not what I expected. It lists the apps on your phone and the permissions that the apps ask for but it is not phone specific. It said that one app was a risk because it accesses the phone and location but I had turned them off in my settings long ago. It is good for what it does list but it does not save me time. I still have to check app by app to see what my settings are.

Don't let the bad reviews fool you! This app is not here to change the permissions. what it does that no other app will do, it sorts every single app on your phone into categories of what apps are the riskiest to betray your personal information to the cloud where it will be sold. think about it! It saves you the trouble of going into each app and checking the permissions. But it does need to be updated for Android ver 9 Think about it. It saves you all the wo

If you go under phone settings and application permissions you can control a lot from there, what you want certain applications to have permission for. For example Facebook Messanger has a GPS Location with in it, I didn't look to see if you can turn it off individually right now bc have to leave house...but I can later. But you probably can turn off location there or location for your whole phone. Privacy Advisor Pro might not let you control the permissions but you can on your on phone.

thought I would give this app a try, so far it seems to be a very good app to have for privacy concerns. scans fast and has not found any issues.

great design, great implementation, but essentially useless to manage permissions as it shows you all apps with the permission denied amongst the apps that have the permission granted. additionally no way to toggle the permissions from within this app
