Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing BugDroid - Bugzilla client on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

unable to download and install the App, may i know the reason?

I installed it minute ago and added my instance of the software (http based URL, not https, if i makes any difference), but don't see any details. Its always refreshing and does not even show the products. My bugzilla installation is 4.4. Will wait for a newer release and review again.

The interface was neat but after I added Mozilla's official bugzilla it always kept refreshing and never worked. Is a shame :-( I really wanted it to work. I have a nexus 4

I think its requirement to use email as login is not appropriate. With some bugzilla login configurations, like LDAP, it can be just login, not email. Also, if something configured wrong, it shows no connection errors, and it is odd.

This is five years old and does not work with modern Bugzilla. It should really be removed from the play store until it's updated..
