Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Fadecandy on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Is this pretty much the extent or can more be added ? I had a fadecandy for a matrix wall that's neen I shelved but this bring new interest

Control your Fadecandy NeoPixel driver from your Android device

2 modes are available :

_ server mode : plug your Fadecandy device to your smartphone using a USB OTG cable. You can control your device inside the local network from any other device including your own Android device

_ client mode : run the Fadecandy server on your computer, raspberry PI or other Android device running this application and control your Fadecandy device using this app
