Millions of people all around the world have fun using metal detectors to uncover valuable relics buried underground. Turns your cell phone into a real metal detector making your friends and family jealous about your phone.

Usage is simple. Open the app, and move it around. The magnetic field level will constantly fluctuate. That's it! You can find electrical wires in the walls (like a stud finder), iron pipes in the ground and even rebars (reinforcing bars inside walls). Metal Detector can also be used at the beach to unveil lost items buried in the sand like watches, metal coins and cell phones...

The accuracy depends entirely on your magnetic sensor (magnetometer). Note that it might be affected by electronic equipment (TV, PC, Microwave) that generates their own electromagnetic waves. The app notifies you using vibrations when a significant sudden change is detected in the magnetic field strength. You can spot the Delta value to detect slow changes in the magnetic field value.

Metal detector cannot detect gold, silver and coins made of copper. They are classified as non-ferrous metal that has no magnetic field. Only metal coins can be detected using this Metal Detector application

This Metal Detector require a magnetic sensor (magnetometer). If this app does not work properly, please check the specifications of your device.
