This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing HomeBrite on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Doesn't work can't connect to the bulb at all. Are y'all ever gonna take care of your customers? I have to spend more money buying a different smart bulb. Thanks for nothing!!!! Great update y'all didn't fix anything!!! Still won't connect. just took out the WiFi that didn't work either

So sad :( This app was working perfectly 2 years ago when I bought these light bulbs. I moved and had to buy more light bulbs but come to find out this app dosen't work any more none of the light bulbs will connect at first I had a 5 star for this app but now I had to downgrade it to a one star. Oh yeah support also did not reach back even more reason for a one star. Oh well back to return the bulbs and then delete app. All the best guys

The app needs work, vast room for improvement. Getting it to work takes a lot of patience. I've had it for almost a year, after a couple months I stopped using it. I found it recently and tried it again. I was able to get a schedule to work on the bulb. The app will turn on, dim/brighten, turn off the bulb. The requirements for the app say Android 4.4.4 or above is needed. Running Android 9 will force the app to exit with a message that Android 4.4.4 or above is needed. At this point in time the I cannot rate the app a zero and I receive zero functionality from the application, too many fails!

Never works. Constantly had to get up and turn off light because it just spins trying to mesh. I spent $50.00 on lightbulbs and they constantly blinked. Hate it. Don't waste your time or money

Simply put: it does not work. On a Google Pixel running latest Android Pie with all security updates it raises an error stating the at required Android 4.4.4 or greater. No other options, settings, configuration or debug info. Feedback submitted through the in-app feedback feature has not been responded to. Deleting the app and replacing my Feit bulbs with a different brand.

The HomeBrite app serves as a virtual light switch for your HomeBrite Bluetooth Smart LED bulbs. HomeBrite uses Bluetooth Mesh technology to connect bulbs throughout your entire home while allowing you to dim and power lights on and off, set schedules and timers, create scenes, and manage groups.

Easy Setup
Simply pair bulbs with your Bluetooth smart device then start controlling and customizing your HomeBrite system. No hub, remote, gateway, wifi, or cellular signal is needed.

On/Off/Dim
Turn your bulbs on and off, or dim them from anywhere in your house from one or more Bluetooth smart devices.

Groups
Group bulbs by room or moods (ie. movie night) and control them with a single command.

Scenes
Scenes allow you to customize a group’s lighting effects.

Schedules
Set schedules to turn individual bulbs or groups on or off at a set date or time. Set a recurring schedule to repeat daily.

Timers
Set timers for individual bulbs and groups that countdown to turn on or off
