Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing AppAUth SIR2 on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

This application is based on the code from the AppAuth project for the Android platform, with changes to connect through our SAML gateway for academic institutions.

With this application, academic Android app developers can:

· test the demo application theirselves, using their identity provider
· check the OIDC flows and requests taking place, as well the different screens presented to the user depending on the browser chosen
· learn about this technical possibility to enhance their identity providers with this protocol
