This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing APK Package Viewer on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

About this app

A small utility I use from time to time in order to be able to view package names and/or copy a package to my external storage. I work with devices that usually doesn't have Google Play installed or no Internet connection, so this is a great and easy way of getting your hands on other utilities and copy them to whatever device necessary.

You could also copy games to devices not normally supported by Google Play.

- List all available packages (installed and system apps)
- Copy APK to external storage
- Share packages with your friends (mail, bluetooth, etc...)
- Uninstall option
- Select where to copy files
- Search capability to find packages quickly
- Sort by name or package name
- Select file naming nomenclature
- Clicking an item will let you Launch, View APP Info, Share, View Google Play page
