This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Mapas de Andalucía on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

Gestor gratuito de descargas de la cartografía de la Junta de Andalucía para su uso con Oruxmaps. El gestor identifica los paquetes de mapas y su descripción disponibles en la WEB de Instituto de Estadística y Cartografía de Andalucía, y los instala en el lugar adecuado ahorrando al usuario la doble tarea de descargarse los datos desde la web e instalar el paquete de datos en el lugar idóneo.

Para el uso de los datos se requiere que el smartphone tenga previamente instalado la aplicación Oruxmaps, disponible en Play Store o en el sitio web: http://www.oruxmaps.com/cs/es/

Los mapas disponibles están orientados a usos en actividades de ocio, senderismo ciclismo orientación, etc. En este primer despliegue se ofrecen paquetes de mapas de tamaño inferior a 2GB de Parques Naturales y de ámbitos comarcales. Se han compilado a partir de la cartografía oficial de la Junta de Andalucía, eligiendo para cada nivel de zoom la escala adecuada del mapa. Así el producto final es el resultado de la combinación del MTA 1:400.000, la cartografía de escalas intermedias de las series Parques Naturales y Ámbitos Comarcales y el MTA 1:10.000. Cuando el volumen máximo de capacidad del fichero (2GB) lo permite, se ofrece como último nivel de zoom la Ortofotografía de Andalucía.

Esta cartografía está pensada para su uso offline integrada en Oruxmaps, lo que permite incorporar rutas y sin necesidad de tener conexión a Internet planificar las salidas utilizando mapas, navegación y recorridos guiados. A modo de resumen te permite:
- Ubicación por GPS, incluso sin cobertura en el móvil.
- Modo de mapas sin conexión.
- Trazar rutas con GPS sobre los mapas de la Junta de Andalucía.
- Guardar y visualizar las rutas en gpx o kml y kmz.
- Visualización del posicionamiento mediante coordenadas, rumbo, velocidad, altitud
- Cálculo de distancias.
