This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Photon Controller on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Will be happy to see additional features, but as far as I can tell it's the only Android app that can talk to the photon, and being able to check % complete remotely is really handy. Simple to use, just enter the IP of your printer and go.

This tool allows me to access and control my Photon remotely. This is a huge thing for me as I don't always have time to go down to my print lab and start a print manually.

With Photon Controller, control, send files and check the status of your printer with CBD (Tested with an Anycubic Photon). Download Photon Controller, type the IP address of your 3D printer and easily control what you print without a computer, just your phone or tablet.

Among the functions of Photon Controller are:
Select the 3D file you want to print on your printer.
Start, pause or stop a printing process.
View the printing status in real time.
Move the axes of your 3D printer.
