About this app

Emoji + Encryption = Emojicryption
Using emojis in cryptography

Emojicryption is all about ciphers.
Its aim is to teach you, the meaning of encryption, in a fun and simple way.

Why Emojis ?

Emojis are meant to be fun, light-hearted, and convey a broad range of emotions efficiently and in a way that words sometimes cannot.

They also have the ability to make it easier to portray your simple text.

They increase engagement because it reduces friction to communication. Emojis can lower this barrier and open up the dialogue to allow the conversation to flow freely.

Emojis are one of the few things that are universal and are available to all internet users across all platforms and devices.

And so, yes, that's the only reason I'm using emojis, to teach you encryption in a simple and fun way.

Behind the Scenes :-

Support

Emojicryption supports all Alphanumeric characters. Alphanumeric, also known as alphameric, simply refers to the type of Latin and Arabic characters representing the numbers 0 - 9, the letters A - Z (both uppercase and lowercase), and some common symbols such as @ # * &.

Logic

Early ciphers used to shift letters of the alphabet to encrypt messages. Emojicryption does it too, but with a key, that uses a unique formula to scramble your text message, and then convert them to emojis.

And yes, the key changes periodically too. So, you're unlikely to decrypt the emojicrypted text by just guessing the plaintext.
